Your particular choice of settings has us very confused. So it makes us think that we are not really understanding what you want to do. To start with, if you want a 3 year volume profile that covers the past 3 years and will update with each new trade (so it keeps moving forward as new information is added), then you would setup a Volume by Price Profile with the following settings (assuming your chart has at least 3 years of data): - Volume Graph Period Type: One Period at End of Fixed Time Length - Time Period Type for 'Fixed Time': Years - Time Period Length for 'Fixed Time': 3 Set other items as you want them, but leave the "Number of Periods Back to Reference" at 0.
