As someone who adds several symbol alerts per day, both in the morning and throughout the day, I find the mechanism to add alerts a bit cumbersome. I have to first click the "Symbol Alerts" tab. Then click the button "Add Symbol Alert," and after typing the symbol, tabbing to comparison and value, I then have to click "Show Alert Popup when triggered." All three of these actions can be eliminated I think.

The first two actions (changing tabs, clicking add button) are redundant and do not need to happen for 90% of the cases for most users. Having a separate "quick add" window for symbol alerts and time alerts would remove these two time-consuming actions. Then we could add a symbol alert by a hotkey, a time alert by separate hotkey, and show the alert manager with another. Finally, having the "Show alert popup" be whatever was used last would be helpful. The last thing I want when entering an alert is to not have it popup, and having to remember to click this button every time is time consuming when the market is moving quickly, and is something that is easy to forget to do. As it stands, the "Show alert popup" is the last widget in the dialog, so I have to tab too many times to get to it. To be able to use only the keyboard for the alert would make it fast, which it absolutely needs to be.

Thanks for your time and consideration. I think that using your existing dialogs, it can be easily made much better with these changes.
