We have had a few reports of this, but we are not able to reproduce it (notepad++ opens just fine for us). Please try again, and when it fails open the Message Log (Window >> Message Log) and look at the end of that log for any indication of why there is an issue starting Notepad++. Please post what you see in the log to this thread for us to understand/analyze.
