Hi I'm using Point and Figure charts and when I plot a Volume Profile I noticed a discrepancy in the value area when using a 2-27 or 1-54 Bar Period Value, each one produces a different value area. Shouldn't both Bar Period produce the same VP value? I attached a screen shot of a VP value are of a 1-54 and a 2-27. Both have different values. What is the most accurate Bar Period Value to use?
