If you do not want to use the Trading Evaluator for your Simulation Trading, then you would need to change your Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service to SC Data - All Services. You will then be able to enable the option for Trade >> Simulation Mode On and use the built-in simulation mode.
