If you select Limit order in the Trade Window, you also have to set the price, etc. and then use the Buy/Sell buttons in the Trade Window to place the order. If you want to trade from the DOM, you need to configure order preferences and mouse buttons on the DOM under: Trade > Chart DOM Settings |
