I added -BAAVG to the Alternate Real-time Update Symbol - the options symbol. It gave me the historical B/A midpoint prices I want, but it did not update with new bars. Also something to note - I tried sending a manual order to IB just to see what would happen, and with the -BAAVG suffix, it rejected the order, saying it was an invalid symbol. Once I removed the -BAAVG, I could send an order. Should I be able to trade off a chart that uses the -BAAVG suffix? |
