Thanks for your response. It was set to No so I changed it to Yes and the alert manager still does not automatically pop up on Error: #SYNTAX! when I hit the Apply button to study after making code change. Edit: Perhaps I should mention this. Before upgrading to current version, I was always using the Main instance and had no second instance.
