If that does not work and the entire program is in a frozen state, the frozen state must be relating to study calculations being performed, which can be due to a large number of bars in the chart which can be the case, if a very short timeframe has been set for each bar. There is no way to stop that until those are moved to another thread but that is a very involved complex task which is not going to happen anytime soon.
