Thank you for your response, but none of these conditions seem to apply. All charts in the chartbook stop updating. Since price continues to update, "disconnect / connect to data feed" does not restore updating. It seems that closing and re-opening charts is the only remedy.

The only changes made since this began to occur (and it has occurred daily) have been to remove TOS from the open task list and to increase internet service from 100 to 500 Mbps. The notebook now shows download speeds of 200-300 Mbps.

I will continue to monitor the times of failure. It seems to be about 90 minutes after opening SC and 30 minutes into the session.
