Thank you. It was only my Main Instance that was in "Trading Lock", and this never prevented me from using the Simulation Mode on the Second Instance. But it seems that indeed: when Sierra's Main Instance is in Tracking Lock then the sub-instance is, too, except it can do Simulations, but not real trades. That's what was confusing.
