I use the pivot point variable period study (specifically formula type 9) on an ESM3 chart. It works as expected with multiple bar periods plotting the ESM3 S/PP/R lines in and out of the market price action. However, when I use the exact same study/formula type on a FGBLM3 chart, its PP is the only line that even remotely mixes with any market price action with its S/R lines never even coming close, ever. Oddly enough, this massive discrepancy does not happen on any of the other formula types when comparing an ESM3 chart to a FGBLM3 chart. I have only found this on formula type 9. Unfortunately, I like to use this formula type the most. How do I correct this?
