Sierra Chart seems resolute that firewalls cause 99% of all connectively issues. I have disconnected my firewall and then restarted my computer in Safe Mode, which also disables firewalls. So, I think I have ruled out firewalls as an issue. I have attempted to reopen the Sierra Chart program and looked at the Message Log. It repeats the following lines (see below). Would this indicate that Sierra Chart is not operating as it should or that perhaps there is a port/socket error or some other issue that isn't readily apparent? I have sent this to AMP Futures and they replied: "You will need to contact Sierra Support about this Robert. Sierra Chart believes they are the best to support their users and asked us to direct you to their support." I don't see any other solutions on the Support Board other than just load a new issue of SC in another file and hopefully transfer all my data over. If that is the final solution, I will be disappointed, as I have no vague understanding of what the problem really is and assurance that I won't be transferring over the same bug? into the new installation. SC is a wonderful program in so many ways, but I'm also amazed that an issue so specifically defined is so difficult to diagnose. Please let me know what my next step should be.
