We just checked to make sure this is working properly and we are able to change bar periods using the keyboard without any trouble. In particular typing 1 d Enter changes to a daily chart and 1 m Enter changes back to a 1 minute chart. Please try again, and ensure you use the Enter key after typing in the period you want. Also, try selecting the Escape key just before you try again to ensure the buffer is clear.
