Everything you have stated says that you should be getting the Positions and Fills showing in the Sub-Instances. Are these Sub-Instances opened by selecting File >> New Instance or are they completely separate installations? Check the setting for Trade >> Only Orders From Chart on the Sub-Instance chart and make sure this is NOT checked.
