What you are doing should work fine. In particular, if you are limiting the data on the chart by using the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Date Range. Let us know what you are using for the Data Limiting Method and what the values are set to. Also, what exactly does not appear to be working properly for your setup.
