There was a change to how the enclosing outline is drawn in the most recent pre-release, but it just draws the "base" of the enclosing outline. In your image, you are pointing to the most recent end of the Volume Profile enclosing line, but that has always been drawn, so we do not understand what you are seeing as a change. Also, is this a Drawn Volume Profile outline that you are referring to, or the VbP study?
