The general tool to color a bar is the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study. Refer to the information here: Color Bar Based on Alert Condition But, you will need to have the information you want from the higher timeframe chart in the chart on which you want to set the alert condition. You will probably still need to use the Study/Price Overlay to do this, but you can hide the study if you do not want to see that information.
