Yes, you can do that, but if it is something you are doing all the time, then you would not want to use the Auto-Looping, since you are taking care of the looping yourself. But, if it is just an occasional thing where you need to update something in the past based on a current event, then you can continue with the Auto-Loop and then loop through all the bars as necessary.
