1) You do not need to specifically save if you are selecting the option to save when you exit. Personally, I use the save on exit all the time and have never had a problem with it. 2) Make sure you are looking in the Backups folder that is part of the Sub-Instance. Each Sub-Instance is its own installation of Sierra Chart, so there will be a replication of the folder structure in each sub-instance.
