Hello, I have been trading through an advisor account in IB which controls two accounts. Everything has been fine while trading futures but I have been unable to place an EUR/USD order because the software sends the order as if it belonged to the advisor account itself (which had $800 in it) and not to the subaccounts according to the allocation profile. Order is therefore rejected because margin is insufficient. IB says this is not an IB issue because IB only receives the order as is and it is therefore a SC issue. For some reason SC sends the order as belonging to the advisor account. I don't know and don't want to speculate why settings that should be global are applied differently in different charts within the same chartbook and this is why I'm asking for your help.
