The way to change the amount of data for a Continuous Futures Contract Chart is the same as for any chart. You just set the Number of Days to Load or the Date Range (whichever you are using) to values that do not go that far back. These items on at Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting.

If you want to turn off the Continuous Contract all together, then that is the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Continuous Contract.
