Here's the quote on Uptick volume from the docs -- Downtick would obviously be the reverse: UpTick Volume Uptick volume is the volume of trades that occurred at a higher price than before. Trades that occurred at the same price and where the prior trade was at a higher price, are also considered upticks. |
