What has also greatly improved performances for me is not running charts withing the main instance chartbook, just a DOM, but nothing which requires too much processing power. Then I run charts and studies, market depth analysis in a sub instance. I suspect that if the main instance has a chartbook with a lot of charts and studies, the processing power it takes to refresh the chartbooks in the main instance will have a direct impact on the data feed processing speed of all sub instances (needs confirmation by Sierra Charts Support), as sub instances are connected through localhost to the main instance. |
