I agree everything in the original post. I feel the same as OP, that Sierra Chart really helped me to look/understand the market in a whole new way. For anybody who has patience/determination, and willing to take one small step at a time (which is also required to be successful in trading): I also believe that it is greatly beneficial to code custom studies with ACSIL, regardless whether we are programmers or having a tech background, since ACSIL is so easy to use yet so powerful. It gives me a great sense of Freedom!! Every time I have some thoughts/ideas in my mind, I just put it on the chart, without being worried about whether there is a default function or existing studies to make that happen.
