Thank you 51479, I think that I have figured out what the issue is. This a Point and Figure chart so the x axis is not based on time but on the movements of the chart columns. So a new time will be registered only when a new column of x's or o's begins. A new column could take 5 minutes to 20 minutes to form. Thanks for the crosshair idea this has helped me figure out the above. All the best, charlie
