You should not have to change anything in the Symbol Settings. It is just a matter of getting the right symbol in order to satisfy Interactive Brokers. As noted above, the best option is to use the Complete Stock Symbol Format, which is of the form [stock symbol]-STK-[exchange]-[currency]. If you have trouble with the format to use, then you really need to ask Interactive Brokers what they require. At this point, you should really undo the changes you made to the symbol settings. There are some of the changes you made that you should not have, such as the Historical Chart Symbol.
