This was a poorly framed question on my part hence it got booted to user discussion... Regarding hidden windows under general settings I've had that checked but misunderstood it's relation to chartbooks thought it related to charts only (being minimized see below.) After re-reading it does appear if destroying hidden windows is checked all open chartbooks do not use resources, just the current one. As a side note I have a monthly TPO chart if I have it visible SC performance takes a huge hit, once I minimize it SC speeds right back to normal. Seeing this type of performance hit/action actually led to this question about charts in other chartbooks open. |
