You need to choose the particular Data/Trading service that provides data for the symbols you want to use. In the case of when using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, we are able to make available those symbols so they can be used when you have selected your main Trading service. We have added all of the cash index symbols supported by the SC Exchange Data Feed, to each of the futures Trading services. This has been done as of this time. When you specify the SP500 symbol in your postings, this is misleading to us and we are not really sure what you are referring to.
