You are saving the information in the correct way. Your choices are to either edit the file before you open it in Excel and get rid of the data that you do not need. Or, you can use the Import function in Excel and remove those columns before importing into the program. This is a bit more advanced, and if you are not familiar with the Import process in Excel, then we recommend the first option.
