The scale font size is controlled by the Chart Text font settings. Refer to the information here: Graphics Settings: Chart Text - (current font name) Be sure you are changing the font on the Fonts tab for the appropriate Graphics page (either Global or Chart depending on the setting for Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings within the Chart Graphics window.
