This is definitely going to be an Operating System issue. It sounds like it is not correctly redrawing the screen when you click to turn off the crosshairs. There is nothing we can do to help with this, especially since you are running on Parallels. It is not something that we can reproduce on a native Windows system, so we can not determine what change (if any) would be needed.
