The 'sort' disabling does not improve it however, the update interval does. It was set to update every 1000 ms, I have changed to 10,000. However, note that every time it updates the cursor is 'sticky' again. Obviously with the longer update interval it happens less frequently but it is still noticeable each time it updates if I happen to be moving the cursor/something else elsewhere. There is also a noticeable increase in CPU load, albeit still a low headline number (well below 15% for SC, which typically runs at <10%).
