WRT Post #1: I checked both the Shadowtrader website and the Sierra Chart function CalculatePivotPoints. Our formulas do indeed disagree with those of Shadowtrader. The correct formulas are listed in that post. PIVOT = (High + Close + Low)/3 R3 = High + 2(Pivot – Low) R2 = Pivot + (R1 – S1) R1 = (2*Pivot) – Low S1 = (2*Pivot) – High S2 = Pivot – (R1 – S1) S3 = Low – 2(Hi – Pivot) |
