The Spreadsheet System for Trading study can place a parent BuyStop entry but it cannot be moved. Only child orders can be moved. It is possible to cancel the BuyStop entry, and re-enter it, but not within the same bar. This can tricky to do and as such it is a limitation that basically makes it a difficult workaround. The way to do this with the spreadsheet study is to not actually place the order, but make its entry conditions persistent, and 'trail' the entry price in a formula. The exact details of how to do this is beyond what could be shared in a forum post. |
