Hello Everyone, I make extensive use of audio alerts in my chartbooks and want to share a setup I call InsideOut. This Study Collection will give you an audible alert intraday when price crosses the prior day High Low. When you open or refresh the chart, it reads aloud the prior day followed by the current day. The attached zipfile contains a study collection and 3 wav files. The wave files were created here http://www2.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php and the link is courtesy of Treydog999. 1. Copy the InsideOut-.StdyCollct to your Sierra "Data" Folder (Look at Global Settings; General Settings; Data Files Folder) 2. Copy the 3 wav files to your Sierra "AlertSounds” folder (usually parallel to the “Data” folder) 3. The sounds in this Study Collection are assigned in Global Settings; General Settings; Alert Settings Alert9 = outsidedayup.wav Alert8 = insideday.wav Alert37 = outsidedaydown.wav 4. Select File; New Chartbook 5. Select File; Find Symbol <select a symbol> ; Open Historical Chart; Close (you should now be looking at a clean Daily chart) 6. Note! Save your own studies first if this is not a clean chart. Select Analysis; InsideOut-; Clear Existing Studies on Chart? = Yes 7. Enjoy. --Bedhog
