I have always had storage issues on my PC because my sierra chart file was too large and this PC doesnt have very much storage built into it, I recently purchased an external hard drive so that I can free up some space by putting getting some old files off my PC and transferring them to the hard drive, My question is would it be possible to leave the hard drive plugged in and move the sierra chart folder into the hard drive that has way my storage space and be able to utilize the it that way or will sierra chart not run properly ? Reason asking is Im trying to find a work around if i happen to go over my PC current storage limit that I have left, I ran into that issue in the past and had to get rid of a bunch of charts to free up space |
