I did a comparison between Windows and Linux/Wine SierraChart. The setup is the same as described in my post #318. Both setups were virtualized. Linux is clearly faster than Windows. Or should I say the CPU% is way much lower in Linux than what is it in Windows (75% vs. 95%). Of course I can feel it too. Anyway I just want to use Sierra in Linux because everything else we have is in Linux. Also we don't like at all that there is lot of stuff going out of the computer into Microsoft (?) servers even we have tried to disable everything. But this is an another story and is off topic.
