Hello friends and sierra chart, I need to better understand how rollover works with futures contracts on the sierra chart platform and how best to progress through the rollover transition in future days. I only trade futures contracts on the NYSE at this point. Each time my charts rollover I generally experience something I didn't expect. I've tried reading through the extensive documentation available on the sierra chart website and toggling through the various rollover options available, though am still struggling to understand this process. As of today I had most charts set to use a 'continuous futures contract - rollover each year same month' selected in the advanced settings tab of the chart settings dropdown window. Today my charts rolled over automatically as I suspected they would. Unfortunately most of my chart drawings were removed from my charts. I realize fully that this is due to something I inadvertently caused to happen and hope to receive some guidance about how to prevent the removal of chart drawings, and possibly how to recover the drawings on my charts that disappeared today if at all possible.
