is anyone going to address this issue? i started writing about this and asking about this almost 2 months ago. if this is something on my end then it would be great to figure out what the issue is so I can utilize what Sierra Chart was built to do. AGAIN sometimes custom charts update and sometimes they do not. here are the error messages associated with the charts not building for custom symbols DOWNLOAD FAIL ERROR DOWNLOAIDNG HISTORICAL INTRADAY CHART (CHART SYMBOLS) CALCULATION TASK FAILED. FAILED TO READ FROM THE INPIT FILE (SYMBOL) ERROR READING RECORDS FROM THE FILE SCID FILE LISTED FROM DATA FILE oddly this same custom symbol opens just fine when it is done righ tnow i.e. open intraday chart for a found symbol. is something wrong with the way this is set up in sierra or is something wrong on my end with data files possibly? also got this error FOR A CUSTOM SYMBOL NEXT DAY DOWNLOAD FAILED ERROR DOWNLOADING HISTORICAL INTRADAY DATA FOR (SYMBOL) THIS IS NOT A VALID FORMULA SYMBOL. however it is a valid symbol that i can pull up an intraday chart very easily with the find symbol and then open intraday chart. i love sierra chart it is wonderful but i get frustrated when it takes weeks to try and figure out an issue. thanks in advance MOST LIKELY it is on my end i know but i need a place to start |
