Is it possible to have floating spreadsheet cells on the trade chart that link to the formula source sheet? I look at a portfolio of symbols. Each symbol has a chart and a concurrent spreadsheet. Certain inputs (i.e. margin requirement, % Capital at risk) are specific to each symbol, and not global across the portfolio (so I can't use the global formula source sheet). Currently, for each symbol, I must manually find the spreadsheet via the pulldown menu, then enter the trade specific criteria. This is inefficient and error-prone. Ideally, I would have 2-3 pre-linked floating cells on the trade chart that would allow me to directly update the corresponding spreadsheet. I would then be able to manage my global inputs from the global formula source sheet and my symbol/trade- specific inputs from the chart itself. Is this possible? Other related questions: 1) How do other traders manage the requirement for entering trade or symbol specific inputs? 2) Can the margin requirement be referenced as a study (similar to account balance)?
