Our position on this is stated on the Interactive Brokers page: Notice: Sierra Chart technically supports Interactive Brokers but no technical help is provided when using Interactive Brokers with Sierra Chart. It is fine to use Interactive Brokers if there are no other choices for what you are trading or based upon your country of residency. However, if you have technical issues, you need to be self-sufficient and rely upon this documentation for help and other documentation on the Sierra Chart website.
Refer to: Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Introduction We will still maintain the interface to a reasonable extent. If we become aware of some basic integration problem that we need to resolve, we will take care of it. We are just not going to be answering questions about market data issues, symbol issues, and things just not working right on the Interactive Brokers side. Now there are going to be some changes with Interactive Brokers integration. At some point, later this year we are no longer going to be providing our own historical data when using Interactive Brokers, and will require the Advanced Service Package to use Interactive Brokers. That would not affect you because you are already using the Denali data feed, and you are already on the Advanced package. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
