Dear Support, Have you thought of starting a new bar based on a zig zag setting of x number of ticks? Is the implementation complicated or the level of effort too high for this? This would be a new "Bar Period Type" for the chart. There would be a new bar for every swing (like the swings created by the Zig Zag study on a Renko chart). The benefits are as follows: 1) We can then add a VBP with numbers for each zigzag line and the entire swing's volume will be included in the VBP. Today we have to use reversal bars or point and figure Bar Period Types and the initial part of a swing's volume until the reversal occurs is included in the previous swing's volume. 2) I can today create a 4 tick renko chart, add a zig zag of, say 75 ticks reversal amount, to it, and then create and adjust several VBPs to match the zig zags manually or through my own automatic method (very crude and buggy method). One other issue apart from this being cumbersome is that the VBPs will be spread through out the chart because the number of renko bars it takes for each swing varies. I will not be able to see many more swings worth of VBPs like I can with the Reversal Bars. Thanks for your time.
