1) You can save templates in a number of ways. via Chartbooks, and saving a collection of studies to load up using the main menu and applying a pre saved Analysis to a chart http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails20.html 2) Chart Values can easily be seen just under the Main menu tool bar, when the cursor slides across a bar. 3) Make sure you load enough days (Chart Settings f5>>Days to load) then slide along the horizontal axis to expand and shrink. Alternatively use the hot keys and keyboard to quickly change the time frame; eg; 1m for 1 min, then 5 for 5 mins, 10 for 10mins, OR 1r, 5,r, 10r for range bars. If you are still comparing IB charts to Sierra Charts then you aint seen nothing yet! :)
