I don't understand how to do this. In the workaround I suggested, the SMA becomes an intermediate study on Chart 1. In this SMA, you set the Based On to the spreadsheet study, and set the Input Data to the spreadsheet column/subgraph that you want to overlay on Chart 2. Then on Chart 2, you use the Study/Price Overlay study to overlay the SMA from Chart 1. This allows you to avoid overlaying all of the subgraphs of the spreadsheet study, and give you the flexibility to select which spreadsheet column/subgraph to overlay.
