so i add up with the new symbol for charting but the "old" symbol for trading.. i'd consider that as a bug. please reset the trade symbol after a symbol change via watchlist. Experienced this, placed live order on ES intending to trade MES contracts, getting filled on M2K instead. Extremely confusing, realized what happened afterwards having read your problem report, was previous trade symbol on that chart, switched through watchlist.
