During the weekend of December 28-29, we will be updating some of our servers with a software update. After this time, we will recommend that users update Sierra Chart to take advantage of the new communications protocol. There will not be a need to immediately update, but we will put out a notice through to Sierra Chart for users to update. Only if you are using our real-time services will you be affected by this. This would include the market statistics data feed and our Forex data feed. Our new futures data feed already uses the latest software and protocol. We are just letting people know now, so you will be prepared for the update. Our advice is that you should update to 1061, if not already, during the next couple of weeks so that that when we put out an update notice, the update will go very smoothly because there will be very minimal changes. Mainly this notice is for users who are running significantly older versions of Sierra Chart. Like a version number 100 or more older.
