In the next version, when opening Global Settings >> General Trade Settings, we will force the display of that dialog window but that will cause it to be positioned at the top left of your desktop rather than being centered. Now whether this helps or not we do not know but there is probably a good chance it will. Another thing we thought of is close all of your Chartbooks and then try open that settings window.
