Just a note from IB about stock options format - I don't think this addresses the root issue that SC Engineering mentioned about the 'true correct format' mentioned in post #9, insofar as it must be structured in requests via programming, but here's what an IB tech agent told me: "Please note for US and CA Stock Options, Interactive Brokers 'localSymbol' abides by the Option Symbology Initiative which already created a unified system.
