I'm not sure I fully understand. Right now if Input 12 (Maximum Quantity for Coloring) is set to 0, then the Maximum value found within the visible bars is used as the Maximum depth when determining the colors. You can then use this along with setting a Percentage for the Graph Only Quantities Greater Than input to only display a particular percentage of the range of depths in the visible bars in the chart. This sounds like what you are asking for, therefore you do not need to constantly change that Input, just set it to 0 and it will constantly adjust.
